Surakarta, 8 March 2024 – The Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (FKG UMS) held a Baitul Arqam event for the Dentist Professional Study Program on 5-7 March 2024. The event aimed to integrate aspects of dentistry with Islamic values.

Edi Karyadi, MM, MDSc, Sp.Perio discussed the Da’wah Strategy and Cadre of Muhammadiyah in the Field of Dental Health. These materials provided new insights for the participants related to the unification between dental practices and Islamic values.
Not only that, this event also presented various interesting materials such as Corpse Care, Friday Khutbah & Lectures, and Thaharah & Prayers delivered by leading experts in their fields. This shows the commitment of FKG UMS in providing holistic education for prospective dentists.
The Baitul Arqam event of the Dentist Professional Study Program also ended with a practical test that tested the participants’ understanding of Islamic principles. The test was tested by a team of examiners consisting of experts and lecturers.
