Surakarta, April 05, 2024 – The Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) successfully held the Baitul Arqom After Professional Studies Period 16. The activity took place from 02 – 04 April 2024, in this activity aims to deepen the understanding of Dentistry Professional Program students about Islamic religious values.
Baitul Arqom is a special program that presents a deep understanding of Islamic religious knowledge, baitul arqam is held in the Meeting Room on the 1st floor of FKG UMS, and starts at 08.00 WIB until completion, for several 3 days.
Presenters and examiners in the field of dentistry and Islam who attended this event included:

The materials presented included prayer procedures, ablutions, funeral prayers, Friday sermons, reading the Quran, and other Islamic-related topics. Participants, consisting of thirty students of the Dentist Professional Program, had the opportunity to explore and understand Islamic religious values based on Hadith and Sunnah.
This event reflects the UMS Faculty of Dentistry’s commitment in providing holistic education to students, preparing a generation of dentists who are not only medically competent but also have a deep understanding of religious and ethical values. Hopefully, the experience gained will help students face future challenges with high integrity as competent and noble dental practitioners.
