Tuesday, June 11, 2024, the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) held a working visit to the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). One of the efforts to establish relationships and initiate cooperation between the UMS Dentist and Professional Education Study Program and the UGM Faculty of Dentistry.
Dean of the UGM Faculty of Dentistry, drg. Suryono S.H., MM, Ph.D. along with his staff, received a group from UMS led by drg. Dendy Murdiyanto, M.DSc. This warm meeting discussed many potential collaborations, and more creative curriculum development.
In his speech, drg. Dendy Murdiyanto, M.DSc said, “This gathering and cooperation is very important to improve the quality of education and research in the field of dentistry. We hope this visit can open the door for more intensive and sustainable collaboration between UMS and UGM.”
The visit ended with a group photo session and hospitality, marking a good start for a mutually beneficial working relationship in the future.
