Surakarta, 4 September 2023, the Faculty of Dentistry, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS) held a Training of Instructors (TOI) from 4 September to 9 September 2023. This event was attended by a number of presenters who are experts in the field of dentistry, with the aim of improving the quality of teaching and training for Lab Instructors (IL) in FY 2023/2024. This training, which lasted for six days, presented presenters who were experienced in their respective fields. The presenters are:

The TOI participants are lecturers and Lab Instructors (IL) at the UMS Faculty of Dentistry who have experience in teaching and training dentists. They come together to deepen their knowledge and skills in the latest teaching methods, learning evaluation, and innovative approaches in dental education
During the training, participants are taught about effective teaching techniques, development of learning materials, and accurate evaluation of students. Apart from that, they also discuss the latest trends in the world of dentistry which can be integrated into the learning curriculum.
“With this TOI, we hope that lecturers and Lab Instructors (IL) can continue to develop their abilities in providing quality education to students. This is an important step in ensuring and producing graduates who are ready to compete in the ever-changing world of dentistry.
This TOI is part of the UMS Faculty of Dentistry’s efforts to improve the quality of dental education and is committed to providing the best education to its students. It is hoped that this training will have a positive impact on the development of human resources in the field of dentistry and overall dental health.
