GENERAL LECTURE ON DENTAL PHOTOGRAPHY OF PROFESSIONAL DENTAL EDUCATION STUDY PROGRAM

Surakarta, October 20, 2023 – The Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) held a Dental Photography Public Lecture on Monday, October 16, 2023. This public lecture is one of the efforts of the Faculty of Dentistry UMS in increasing the knowledge and skills of Professional Dentist Education Study Program students.
The Dental Photography public lecture was held at the Moh. Djazman Auditorium, Campus 1 UMS and took place from 10:00 to 14:00 WIB. The event was attended by students from two different groups but have the same interest in dentistry.
Dr. Ahmad Junaidi, Sp.KG, an experienced practitioner in the field of dentistry, became the main speaker at this public lecture. In his presentation, drg. Ahmad Junaidi shared his knowledge about medical photography and how it is applied in dental practice. He provided valuable insights on photography techniques that can assist dentists in diagnosing, planning treatment, and documenting patient cases accurately.
The participants of this public lecture consisted of two main groups. First, the Dentist Education Study Program Batch 2022 students, who had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of medical photography. Second, students of the Professional Program Periods 15, 16, 17, and 18. Their participation in this event showed enthusiasm to expand their knowledge and skills in the field of dentistry.
This Dental Photography public lecture is part of the UMS Faculty of Dentistry’s commitment to provide quality education to students. With the introduction of medical photography, students are expected to apply this knowledge in their future dental practice.
The UMS Faculty of Dentistry continues to strive to provide useful and relevant educational experiences for students, and this public lecture is a clear example of that effort. Hopefully this kind of activity will continue to be a source of inspiration and motivation for students to develop their skills in dental practice.
