Surakarta, 28 September 2023 – The Faculty of Dentistry, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS) has held the Baitul Arqom Purna Profession Study Period 14 event. This activity, which takes place from Thursday to Tuesday, 21-25—26 September 2023, aims to provide a deeper understanding in depth about Islamic religious values and to twenty-four Professional Program students.
Baitul Arqom is a special program designed for professional students to deepen their knowledge of Islamic religious knowledge. This event was held in the Meeting Room on the 1st floor of FKG UMS, starting at 08.00 WIB and lasting until the end, for several consecutive days.
The material presented at the Baitul Arqom event covers various aspects of Islam, including prayer procedures, ablution, funeral prayers, Friday sermons, reading the Koran, and other topics related to the Islamic religion. The presenters and examiners who attended this event included:

Baitul Arqom participants consisted of twenty-four students who were currently undergoing a professional dentistry program. They get the opportunity to explore and understand the values of the Islamic religion and those based on the Hadith and Sunnah. This reflects the commitment of the UMS Faculty of Dentistry in providing holistic education and preparing a generation of dentists who are not only competent in the field of dentistry but also have a deep understanding of religious and ethical values. Hopefully the experience gained in this event will help students in face future challenges and become a competent dental practitioner with high integrity.
