The Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, held a training for clinical supervisors of the Dentist Professional Program. This training took place on July 6, 2024. The event was held at Megaland Hotel, Surakarta on Saturday, July 6, 2024. Clinical supervisors, who are an important part of supporting students’ education and professional development, attended the training.
“We want to ensure that clinical supervisors have the latest knowledge and skills needed to support a quality education process,” said drg. Aprilia Y. A, MDSc, Sp. Perio, chair of the training.
The training featured several expert presenters in their fields, including:
drg. Rochman Mujayanto, Sp.PM He presented material on Teledentistry training or how to communicate between doctors and patients,
drg. Juwita R.N., MSc Discusses PBM (Problem Based Learning) Evaluation in the dental profession, providing new insights into more effective and efficient evaluation methods.
drg. Ikmal Hafizi, MDSc., Sp. Ort Presented the socialization of the latest assessment in the dental profession program, providing an understanding of the latest assessment standards.
drg. Aprilia Y.A, MDSc, Sp. Perio Discussed the socialization of Nola input through STAR, a system designed to simplify the process of data input and monitoring student progress.
This training is expected to make clinical supervisors better prepared to assist dental professional program students and face challenges in the field. Through various activities and initiatives such as this, the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta continues to be committed to improving dental education and health services.
