SOCA EXAMINATION ACTIVITIES EVEN SEMESTER FACULTY OF DENTISTRY UMS 2022/2023

UMS Faculty of Dentistry Even Semester Soca Exam 2022/2023: Testing Students’ Abilities and Knowledge

Surakarta, 4 July 2023 – Faculty of Dentistry, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS) announced the implementation of Even Semester Soca Examination activities for the 2022/2023 academic year. This activity, which will be held in the “OSCE CENTER RSGM SOELASTRI” room, is an important step in evaluating students’ abilities and knowledge in facing the challenges of modern dentistry.

The Even Semester Soca (Student Oral Case) exam will take place from July 5 to July 15 2023. This activity will involve all UMS Faculty of Dentistry students, who will face various forms of comprehensive evaluations that include theoretical knowledge, clinical skills and practical abilities in field of dentistry.

The Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, UMS, said, “The Soca Exam is an opportunity for students to apply everything they have learned during this semester and measure the extent of their readiness in pursuing the dental profession. We are committed to providing the best education to our students, and the Soca Exam is one way to ensure the quality of our graduates.”

Students are expected to prepare carefully, review the material they have studied, and deepen their clinical skills. The Soca exam will also include real case scenarios that will test students’ analytical and solution skills in dealing with complex medical situations.

Apart from measuring academic abilities, the SOCA exam will also provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate integrity, ethics and professionalism in practicing dentistry. Students are expected not only to be capable practitioners, but also to have high moral qualities.

The UMS Faculty of Dentistry invites all students, lecturers and teaching staff to support the smooth implementation of the Even Semester Soca Examination. Hopefully, through this exam, students can show extraordinary achievements and be ready to face the challenging world of dentistry
