Mentor Teacher Training (UKGS) Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta

On [Tuesday, October 03, 2023], the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta organized a Teacher Training Workshop (UKGS) which was attended by a number of participants from several Madrasah Ibtidaiah (MI) teachers. This training aims to improve the knowledge and skills of mentor teachers in the field of dentistry. The trainees were given the opportunity to learn from speakers who are experienced in the field of dental and oral care, among others:

The trainees were very enthusiastic in following each presentation session and actively participating in the discussions. They gained valuable insights and new knowledge in the field of dentistry, which they will later apply in their roles as mentor teachers. The presenters provided in-depth explanations on various important aspects of dentistry, including the latest developments in the field. They also provided practical guidance to support participants’ progress in their work as mentor teachers.In addition to the presentation sessions, the training also included hands-on practice and group discussions to ensure deep understanding by participants. The participants also had the opportunity to exchange experiences and collaborate in improving the quality of education at the Faculty of Dentistry. The mentor teacher training ended with high spirits from the participants, who were ready to apply their newly acquired knowledge and skills in coaching at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta.
